Your visit and any purchase are governed by that third party’s terms, privacy policy, prices, availability, shipping practices, and return policies. We do not control and are not responsible for third-party websites or transactions. We do not currently use affiliate links.
3. Intellectual property
Unless otherwise stated, the Site and its content—including text, artwork, illustrations, graphics, logos, and design—are owned by or licensed to us and are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. You may view the Site for personal, noncommercial use. You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, publish, sell, or exploit Site content without prior written permission, except as permitted by law.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Site is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, and non-infringement. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain warranty exclusions, so portions of this section may not apply to you.
7. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we and our officers, employees, contractors, and agents will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, data, goodwill, or other intangible losses arising from your use of—or inability to use—the Site or any linked third-party service. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded.
8. Changes to these Terms

Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy explains how Alacarte.Net, Inc. (“we,” “us,” or “our”) handles information when you visit PercyPelican.com (the “Site”).
1. Information we collect
We do not provide user accounts and do not directly collect names, mailing addresses, payment information, or book orders through the Site.
Like most websites, our hosting provider may automatically create server logs containing technical information such as your Internet Protocol (IP) address, browser type, device type, requested pages, referring page, and date and time of access. We use this information to operate, secure, and troubleshoot the Site.
2. Google Analytics
We use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use the Site. In a standard implementation, Google Analytics may collect information such as page views, interactions, session statistics, approximate location, and browser and device information. Google Analytics uses cookies or similar technologies. Google states that Analytics does not log or store individual IP addresses, although IP information may be used to derive approximate location before it is discarded.
We use analytics information to measure Site traffic, understand which content is useful, and improve the Site. We do not intentionally send Google information that directly identifies you, such as your name or email address.
Learn more about how Google uses information from sites that use its services, review the Google Privacy Policy, or use the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on. You may also restrict or delete cookies through your browser settings.
3. Google Search Console
We use Google Search Console to monitor the Site’s visibility and performance in Google Search. It provides reports such as search queries, clicks, impressions, general geographic information, device category, and indexing or technical errors. Search Console reports generally provide aggregated or limited data and do not give us your name, email address, or the identity of an individual searcher.
4. Amazon and other external links
The Site links to Amazon so visitors can view or purchase the book. Clicking an external link may allow the destination website to receive information such as the page you came from and technical information sent by your browser. Amazon and other third parties process information under their own privacy policies. We do not receive your Amazon account details, payment information, shipping address, or complete order record from purchases made on Amazon.
5. Cookies and similar technologies
Cookies are small text files placed on your device. Google Analytics may use cookies or similar technologies to distinguish visits and measure use of the Site. You can configure your browser to block or delete cookies, although doing so may affect some website functionality. Where required by applicable law, we will request consent before using non-essential analytics cookies.
6. How we use and disclose information
We use information to operate, secure, analyze, maintain, and improve the Site; respond to lawful requests; and protect our rights and the rights of others. We may disclose information to service providers that help host, maintain, secure, or analyze the Site; when required by law or legal process; to protect safety or rights; or in connection with a business transfer. We do not sell personal information for money.
7. Data retention
We retain information only as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this Policy, including security, legal, and operational needs. Google Analytics and our hosting provider may retain information according to our settings, agreements, and their applicable policies.
8. Children’s privacy
The Site promotes a children’s book but is intended for parents, guardians, educators, and other adults. The Site does not offer accounts, games, chat, submissions, newsletters, or other features intended to collect personal information directly from children. We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us so we can investigate and take appropriate action.
Because analytics and similar third-party technologies may collect persistent identifiers or other information automatically, operators of websites directed to children may have additional obligations under the U.S. Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA). Parents and guardians should supervise children’s use of the Site and any linked retailer.
9. Data security
We use reasonable administrative and technical measures appropriate to the nature of the Site and information involved. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
10. Your privacy choices and rights
You may block or delete cookies through your browser and may use Google’s Analytics opt-out tool linked above. Depending on where you live, you may also have rights concerning personal information, such as rights to request access, correction, deletion, or information about processing. To submit a privacy request, contact us using the information below. We may need to verify your request, and legal exceptions may apply.
11. International visitors
The Site is operated from United States of America. If you visit from another country, information may be processed in countries whose data-protection laws differ from those where you live.
12. Changes to this Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the revised version on this page.
